HMM... MUST HAVE MISSED IT…

hmm…must have missed it… shines a light on the unseen and hidden facets of a garment’s lifecycle through integrated glimpses of waste, body parts, construction mistakes, and handwritten notes. This work produces meaningful pieces that effect social change within the industry. Scraps, offcuts, swatches, and samples are sewn into the collection rather than being separated and out of sight. These techniques make plain the human interconnection in the creation of a garment, as well as the environmental costs of garment production, consumption and disposal.
