Last night, popular crowd favourite, Swanndri, made its debut on the iD catwalk complete with injured Highlanders stars Waisake Naholo, Lima Sopoaga, Ash Dixon and Dan Pryor, who seemed at home on the 120m-long raised catwalk at the Dunedin Railway Station, even managing to pass a rugby ball between them as they went.
A stand-out Australian emerging designer collection that reinvents archetypal garments including the biker jacket and blazer has won tonight’s 13th annual iD International Emerging Designer Awards held at the Dunedin Railway Station in New Zealand.
Swedish fashion designer Paulo Melim Andersson – the creative force behind some of Europe’s biggest fashion houses – will show a retrospective collection at the iD Fashion Shows on Friday March 24 and Saturday March 25 at the Dunedin Railway Station.
This year’s iD International Emerging Designer Awards will be moved from the Dunedin Town Hall to the Dunedin Railway Station giving emerging finalists from around the world an opportunity to be part of the unique Railway platform runway experience associated with iD’s premier Fashion Show.
Stolen Girlfriends Club will launch a new high winter collection at iD Dunedin Fashion Week’s premier Railway catwalk shows as this year’s national guest designer.
Iconic Kiwi brand Swanndri will join New Zealand high fashion labels Carlson, NOM*d, Company of Strangers and Hailwood in a fresh new line-up for next year’s iD Dunedin Fashion Week to be held from March 18-26, 2017.
