"fino alla nona vita (until the ninth life)" is an autobiographical knitwear collection archiving a queer love story through memory, longing, and hope. Drawing from the belief that connections between souls persist across a cat's nine lives, the narrative unfolds across four acts: encounter, home, separation, and dream. Synthesizing Shima Seiki APEX programming with hand embroidery, each garment acts as a material relic of lived experience. Photograph windows, handwritten poetry pressed with real daisies, and handwritten musical scores from a self-composed companion album are seamlessly translated into advanced WholeGarment and Jacquard structures, creating a deeply intimate landscape.
