LAYERED_VOW

This collection explores the short life of wedding dresses and the lasting meaning of a vow. Discarded gowns and remnants from bridal salons and ateliers are cut, layered, bonded under heat and pressure, then sliced into thin sheets to create a new textile. Its geological patterns and uneven surfaces reveal hidden layers of memory, craftsmanship and material. The heat-responsive textile can be shaped into garments and accessories, combining sustainability with new possibilities for form and function. By transforming bridal waste, the collection extends a fleeting moment of promise into a new life.
