iD Fashion welcomes Dunedin based designers (or those with a Dunedin connection) to submit images of a collection to be considered for participation in the iD Show 2027, to take place on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 March at the Dunedin Railway Station. Designers must be producing directional, commercial and sustainable adult fashion.
Fostering a sustainable fashion industry is an important focus for iD. As part of the selection process, you will need to explain how you incorporate sustainability in your designs and business.
There are a number of options to participate in the show with designers showcasing between 5 – 10 outfits. The selection panel consisting of fashion industry experts will determine which option (e.g. capsule collection, full collection, Otago Polytechnic graduate section etc) best fits your collection. As a priority diversity and size inclusivity will be celebrated for 2027.
iD welcomes applications from a diverse range of designers / brands with an Ōtepoti connection. A Dunedin connection extends to designers who have studied in Dunedin, have lived here previously or have a retail store or stockist in the city.
