Where are they now?
Jojo Ross: iD International Emerging Designer Awards 2012 Finalist
All eyes on Jojo Ross
From an iD International Emerging Designer Awards finalist in 2012 to launching her eponymous label in 2016, and returning as a designer in 2020 and 2023, Jojo Ross continues to evolve.
Originally from Central Otago, the Otago Polytechnic graduate has gained international recognition, featured in Vogue Italia’s 100 designers to watch and selected by Not Just a Label as one of the world’s top emerging designers to showcase her work in Italy.
Shown at New Zealand Fashion Week and most recently at Āhua, where FENELLA debuted on the runway, marking a new chapter. Shaped by new motherhood, the collection offers a softer take on signature silhouettes, grounded in clarity, ease, quiet confidence and comfort.
Designed and made in Aotearoa, Jojo focuses on working in the present to create key styles, not seasons, with a conceptual foundation of sculptural forms, strong tailoring and industrial finishes, lifted with colour and unexpected prints.
Clean, minimal and quietly futuristic.
