Kim Clark: iD International Emerging Designer Awards 2020 Finalist
Here at iD Dunedin, we love following the evolving careers of past iD International Emerging Designers. Since being selected as a finalist at iD 2020, Kim Clark has gone on to launch KimC Studio, a Melbourne-based fashion label known for its refined, contemporary approach and quiet confidence.
A graduate of RMIT University, Kim draws on both academic training and international industry experience to inform a practice that balances experimentation with restraint. The result is a body of work defined by considered silhouettes, subtle detailing, and garments designed to feel current while remaining enduring.
Rooted in thoughtful construction, natural fibres, and small-batch production, KimC Studio places craftsmanship, sustainability, and ethical making at its core. Close relationships with local and regional artisans support a design process centred on material honesty, intention, and longevity.
