Open Model Casting

iD Dunedin Fashion Week is inviting everyone who has dreamed of being a catwalk model to an open casting for the 2023 iD Dunedin Fashion Show.

The iD Dunedin Fashion Show will return to the iconic Dunedin Railway Station on 1 April 2023, celebrating diversity in all its forms – including the designer collections and models on the catwalk.  The show will showcase an edgy blend of high-profile designers from Dunedin and New Zealand and innovative emerging global fashion on one of the world’s longest catwalks.

 Open casting details

Sunday, 30 October

3pm – 4pm

Meridian Mall – Hanover Street entrance

All modelling agencies are welcome.

Previous modelling experience is not necessary.

Models must be at least 16 years old.

Models should wear plain fitted clothing and be prepared to be photographed and to walk a short catwalk. 

Models must be available on the evenings of Friday 31 March and Saturday 1 April, and possibly during the day on Thursday 30 March.  There will also be fitting requirements in the two weeks leading up to the show. 

Models will be asked to complete a short form on arrival.

Models will be paid pro rata based on the number of collections they are selected for. 

Hair and makeup will be designed and undertaken by the iD creative team.
