Her Terms

Tegan is a Dunedin-based womenswear label founded by designer Tegan Rose Vickery. The brand explores femininity through a contemporary lens, balancing precision and softness, tailoring and sensuality, restraint and expression.

Designed and produced in Aotearoa, Tegan creates considered garments with an emphasis on silhouette, craftsmanship and material. Collections move between refined tailoring and occasion wear, creating pieces that feel both deliberate and deeply personal.

The design language is feminine without being delicate, structured without sacrificing movement. Natural fibres, considered construction and thoughtful detailing form the foundation of the label, while a strong conceptual narrative drives each collection.

Tegan approaches clothing as more than adornment: it is a means of inhabiting space, expressing identity and defining how one wishes to be seen.

Sustainability
Tegan approaches design with longevity and intention at its core. Natural fibres are prioritised, fabrics are sourced through New Zealand-owned suppliers, and garments are produced in small runs or made to order. Deadstock fabrics are incorporated where appropriate, reducing material waste.

Diversity
Tegan rejects the idea of a singular fashion ideal. The label is committed to creating clothing that allows women of different ages, sizes and identities to engage with fashion on their own terms, with confidence, individuality and self-expression at the centre.
