Childish Doodles

Inspired by children’s artwork, Susmita Islam’s collection of dresses reflects Bangladeshi culture, beauty and innocence through the eyes of a child.

The designer uses sustainable ‘Khadi’, a hand-spun, hand-woven natural fibre in white and off-white which creates a blank canvas to create ‘Childish Doodles’.

Colourful hand-stitching is also incorporated in the ‘doodle’, adding texture and interest to the pieces.
