HALLUCINATION

‘Hallucination’ is inspired by exploring the post-truth society, where objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion, than appeals to emotion and personal belief. Sharon wanted to express that what we see today may not be true. The silhouette for the collection is based on politicians’ garments, in particular windbreakers and suits, because some politicians use excuses to cover the truth. Using truth in her design Sharon uses eco-friendly natural fabric and used the off cuts to make accessories.
