LUXO GANG

‘Luxo Gang’ is a collection the pair designed from a fantasy world they created for Alexandra of Kent. They imagined her making a journey to Argentina; transforming into a true Argentinean, with style and an anaesthetic full of colour. When developing their collection they also considered royal protocol, ornaments and jewels worn at public functions. They used a variety of techniques including haberdashery, embroidery, tailoring, weaving, corsetry and the deconstruction of haute couture, as well as printmaking. Sustainability was important too; so they considered every aspect of garment production using high quality fabric and avoiding waste by creating textiles with the leftover fabric.
