CUMBRE

Inspired by the search for a trend called flexible identities, Cumbre explores new reversible identities taking a playful look at work, gender and ethnic identity. Inspired by the world of an urban couple that yearns to be isolated in the mountains, their daily routine is spent imagining landscapes of Southern Argentina. By taking the colours and textures from the mountains to the city, the borders of their own world expands and integrates into their dreams and desires.

References to the sport of mountaineering merge with the urban – tailored garments combine with sportswear detailing such as ropes or deconstructed harnesses, elegant fabrics (such as satins) mix with cloths and knitted materials, and garments and accessories such as gloves, hats and scarves layer to provide warmth and practicality.
