ARTUR STEC

URBAN CAMOUFLAGE

Using new and unconventional construction techniques, the collection is inspired by the designer’s background as a graffiti artist and is full of contrasts – natural, heavy fabrics such as hemp and linen combine with light synthetics, blurred colour mixes with clean embroidery, multi-layered fabrics meet naked hands, eyes and ankles. Technology and clever design transforms clothing for multiple purposes– a shirt transforms into a balaclava, a white shirtdress can transform into trousers, pockets can be removed and used as bags or a skirt becomes a bag, while backpacks and bags can be broken down for various uses.
