INK EXAGGERATED
For thousands of years, Māori tattoo design has entranced us with simultaneous simplicity and complexity. Each shape and design has meaning and form a story when combined.

Amy Louise’s ‘Ink Exaggerated’ collection draws upon her research on Māori culture, featuring vibrant colours and creative textures. Many hours were spent hand-weaving ostrich feathers and colourful yarn into the garments. Silhouettes include a huge exaggerated coat with multiple panels and sleeves inserted like triangles.

Adding a touch of elegance to the collection, Amy Louise has made a 100% Orissa Dupion silk corset dress, consisting of seven meters of fabric and adorned with ostrich feathers.
