The phenomenon of shadow and reflection is explored in a world that ignores the beauty such forms create. The abstract nature that reflection and shadow possess, not only subverts and deepens the meaning of an object, but can also create unreality by reflecting back unconventional representations of reality.

Angle and light interchange, challenging the perception of textures and shapes, exploring the ability to dress the body in hybrid forms, which both conceal and reveal. This illusion of angles and layers was the focal point in the research and exploration behind this collection, which manifested itself in the use of natural fibres, such as organza silk to reveal the body and hand-cut leather.
