Exhibitions
A collaboration of mediums and messy masterpieces; this Nymphets 2013 collection created by Designer Rose Thomas will be shown within an interactive installation form at None Gallery. The combined elements of performance, sound, fabric and film converges an engagement of all the senses into visual cacophony of subverted fashion culture. From the streets of Auckland inner city to Dunedin's underground arena, prepare for a radical clash of androgyny, fairy's, brats and beauty queens and a fashion display like you have never seen before.

The art department artists and art educators, Kerry Mackay and Pamela Brown, invite the public to re-dress The Wallpaper House. A giant house-sized apron framework has been built to fit the front of the house. Interested people can come along and make a small art work to add to the apron's surface. This will result in a colourful, collaborative streetscape. Kerry and Pamela will guide the making process, so that all can feel involved.
As studio space is limited, large groups need to contact us first, but otherwise, please come and join us.
Re-Skin by Kerry Mackay will be on show in the gallery space adjoining the workshops. This features re-worked vintage coats, re-skinned handbags, taxidermy, parrots, cats and lambs!!
Date: 11th - 22nd March
Time: 12pm - 4pm daily
Venue: 29 Lees Street, Central City
